When spreading colored mulch, it is important to give the dye a chance to dry before it is exposed to rain or lawn sprinkling. Sitting in large piles at our location make it difficult for the material to completely dry out and for the color to completely soak into the wood. The process of drying out and optimal color happens best when it is spread out in your landscape beds. Please allow for at least 24 hours of dry weather once your colored mulch has been installed.
